Unless of course you’re willing to take one of these steps… The PS4 is a much more capable console than its predecessors, with hardware specifications that rival most entry-level gaming PCs, but even it is still unable to make the most out of your internet connection. A video game console is not a PC, and they lack much of the additional dedicated hardware and firmware enhancements that allow computers to intelligently optimize their connection. Loving the fiber, very happily surprised by the excellent customer service. For many people, PSN download speeds are slow, but from the moment game consoles were able to connect to the internet, it was obvious their ability to make the most out of that precious data pipe was somewhat limited. I was definitely impressed with how quickly the forums solved both my issues. He and I confirmed that it wasn't a hardware issue and I felt comfortable enough messing with the settings and seeking answers in the forum on my own. The phone support was great and they even sent out a technician (on Dec. I gotta say, I've been really impressed with the customer service from AT&T since getting this installed. Apple TV is now working perfectly and that solves that. Multiplayer on Xbox and streaming films seems to be working just fine. I took the Xbox out of the DMZ and just used my profile with this configuration:

Just to be safe, I edited the "user-defined application" for both the Apple TV and the Xbox One to remove ports 53 and 80. It did spike up to around 500 Mbps and then drop down to almost zero and so forth. I completely forgot about holiday traffic on Microsoft's servers. Let us know if your speeds improve and I'll do the same. Let's see how the download speeds are in the next few days like GWnALA has suggested. one minute it's 1.5 Mbps then it'll jump to 75 Mbps then up to 145 Mbps then drops back down to pitiful. I notice that sometimes my download rate on the Xbox while pulling down a game is all over the map. I have to agree with everyone's opinion here as I'm sure the Microsoft Xbox servers are probably getting roasted this weekend due to the holidays and everyone using their new game boxes.

My 5 GHz wireless signal is at 100% on the Xbox. I've also tried connecting the console via Ethernet directly from the Pace and have tested with 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless too. I've got all FW ports for the Xbox open for natting on my Pace 5286ac gateway, I've also disabled IPv6, and have set the primary and secondary DNS server settings on the Xbox to Google DNS servers. I'm getting incredible speeds on all of my devices but just haven't been able to on my Xbox at all when downloading games. I had GigaPower fiber 1 GB service installed recently this past Christmas eve day and am experiencing the exact same issue with my Xbox One as you are.
